Polaris are once again proud sponsors of the Biggest Little Race on the racing calendar and one we cant miss as it is based just down the road from where Polaris was Born in the Mountains and the wonderful hills of Sheffield.

Steel City is on Saturday 2nd of May  in Grenoside Woods and Practice will start at 9am sharp

This year Polaris will be sponsoring the Masters category for both the Master Men and the Master Ladies! The winners will receive one of our fantastic Axial Pod Bags that has been raved about by both Dirt and Enduro Magazine . Second and Third Place will receive a combination of Granite Jackets, Defy Jerseys, Medusa Jerseys and Trail Shorts

Oliver Watson

Oli is seeded 1st in the Seniors category after a great run to come 5th last year! Oli has had a fantastic season so far with multiple podiums and is raring to get on with tearing up the famous Grenoside Steel City Track this weekend and will be hoping for a podium.

Ben Lord

Not only could Oli and Ben not get much closer as friends off the track their times on the track tell the same story! These two have been locked together since finishing 8th and 9th respectively in the Pearce Series Last year and this year is much the same! Being seeded 2nd for the Senior category this year means Ben will be a man on a mission come Saturday.

Lucy Follett

This year Polaris are proud to add  an awesome female rider to the team in the form of Lucy. Lucy will have plenty of local support come Saturday being a Sheffield girl and she knows the Greno Trails well! Lucy is normally tearing it up in Enduro racing but is looking forward to the Steel City atmosphere on Saturday.

We hope you are as excited as we are about a great day of racing and we will have a stall at the race with all our great kit on sale.

Also remember all profits from the Steel City race go to Trail Advocacy in the area and for Ride Sheffield! These guys and girls give up so much of their time voluntarily to ensure people enjoy the trails in Sheffield for years to come! So make sure you show them some appreciation on the day
